Modular fixture plates for Fadal CNC mills, made to order in Wisconsin, USA. Pick your machine series and model below for an OEM-fit envelope with the standard Tosa Tool (TT) hole pattern — two nestled 1.250″ grids (precision ø.5010 bores + 1/2-13 threaded holes with counterbore).

Materials: PH 4140 PreHard steel MC medium-carbon steel · AL 7075-T6 aluminum.

Fadal compatible modular subplates

Tosa Tool builds OEM-fit modular fixture plates for Fadal CNC mills and machining centers. These plates are designed around your machine’s table so you can mount once and change setups with modular workholding — without re-tramming a vise every job.

Add Options & built-to-fit accessories

Select your plate, then Add Options to your Modular Subplate and add built-to-fit hardware accessories. Available add-ons include:

Keyway locating bores & pins
Set screws and plugs
Plate mounting kit (t-nuts and capscrews)
TT 6″ modular vise
8″ modular angle plate
20-pc modular pin kit
Tosa Tool modular full kit or half kit (with shipping)

That way the plate and the accessories that fit it travel together in one order.

Tosa Tool hole pattern (TT)

The TT standard hole pattern is two nestled 1.2500″ grids sharing the same plate:

Precision bore grid: ø.5010″ ±.0002 TYP on 1.2500″ centers — for locating pins and accurate repeat setups
Threaded hole grid: 1/2-13 UNC 2B thru TYP on 1.2500″ centers, with ø.5625 × .19 counterbore (~3/16″ deep) — for clamps, bolts, and modular accessories

The two patterns are offset so bores and threaded holes alternate; neighboring holes (bore next to thread) fall on 0.625″ centers. Same pattern across Tosa Tool modular subplates so options and built-to-fit hardware accessories line up from plate to plate.

Material options

PH — 4140 PreHard steel: excellent strength and durability for production workholding
MC — medium-carbon steel: strong, long-life steel plate
AL — 7075-T6 aluminum: light but strong; popular when weight and handling matter

These plates are MTO from TosaTool LLC. Lead times are typically short for standard configurator builds — confirm current timing when you order or ask Dan at 608-721-TOOL.

Tosa Tool has made us 3 fixture plates for our Fadals. Our company makes about 45 different parts for the machines our company makes. Dans advise and the hardware provided by Tosa Tool has increased our setups and overall productivity quite a bit. Much better investment than adding another shift to handle the workload.
